Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why does a card say "No data available. Run optimization to see results."?

Each card depends on fresh scan data. If you've never run an optimization, or if it's been cleared, you'll see this exact message instead of metrics. To fix it, click Optimize in the Dashboard. Wait until "Last scan" updates, then return—the card will display its score and bullet counts.

2. What should I do if Auto-Suggest places a link awkwardly?

Auto-Suggest relies on Natural Language Processing (NLP) to insert links for you, so it sometimes lands mid-sentence or next to punctuation. After clicking the Auto-Suggest icon, the newly inserted link will flash in green-blue. Simply click inside that link text, then drag your cursor or use arrow keys to reposition it exactly where you want. When satisfied, click the Save button to make it permanent.

3. My optimization seems to be taking a very long time. Is this normal?

Optimization time depends on your site's size and complexity. For smaller sites (under 50 pages), optimization typically completes within 2-3 minutes. Larger sites with hundreds of pages may take 10-15 minutes or more. The progress bar and status messages will keep you informed of the current phase. If an optimization appears stuck for more than 30 minutes, try refreshing the page and running the optimization again.

4. Why can't I see the "Fix" button for Orphaned Pages?

The "Fix" button only appears when the card's bullet count shows at least one orphaned page. If it reads "No data available. Run optimization to see results," run an optimization, wait for it to finish, then click "View." Once you have one or more orphaned pages listed in the table, the "Fix" button will show on each row.

5. How does sorting a table affect the "View" button?

Sorting lets you reorder rows by clicking a column header (ascending or descending). After sorting, you can click View on any row to see that page's details. When you return, the table remains in the same sorted order and scroll position, so you don't lose your place.

6. Can I undo changes I made in the editor?

Yes! The editor includes built-in undo/redo functionality. Use Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo recent changes, and Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y to redo. The system maintains a history of your recent edits, so you can step backwards through multiple changes if needed.

7. What happens if I accidentally close the editor without saving?

The system automatically saves drafts of your work every 60 seconds while you edit. If you close the editor or navigate away without manually saving, your changes are preserved as a draft. When you return to edit the same content, you'll see a notification banner offering to restore your unsaved changes. See the Preview & Inline Editing section for complete details about draft management.
